Phantom Pearl got a 2 star review and it’s fabulous!

OMG. For realz? The book blurb clearly states history is in the mix, so why choose to read it?

But…I’m so glad they did. Because for a big fan of history like me, that review told me I did my job. I adore books that weave historical fact and fiction together. The past is full of adventurous people and intriguing mysteries. There are things to be learned there. What can be better than finding a fascinating tidbit to develop a story around? Or… reading said tidbit and sparking curiosity?

 Truth. Whoever brought that travesty about… may the anger of a lemur forever haunt you.
